Sol Weapons in weapons.tbl???

I noticed a few unused weapons in the weapons.tbl when I was browsing through it:

SPurple
LPurple
Sol Turret
Huge Sol Turret

Were these weapons intended for a Freespace2 add-on that had Sol ships in it? And have any of the campaigns used these weapons in MoDs or no?

You sure you're not looking at the BWO Demo weapons table?

thre are also beam weapon parsers in the FS1 tables
