The menus?

Im just wondering as to what happened to the new loading menus apart from the main hall? All I see is the old FS2 loading screens and other menus. What happened to the ones from Release1?

R2 does have same interface menus as R1, plus new main hall. Interface is included in b5-core-2_0.vp file.

-Did you have any problems during installation?
-When you launch R2 installer, it checks it's own integrity, did this pass without problems?
-Try uninstalling FS2, then reinstalling it and installing 1.2 patch. Then install R2, you might have something in your FS2 data folder which are overriding R2 vp's.

Had a similar problem and I know I didn't install them in a wrong place.
That helped:
- get vpview
- extract the core files to the right subfolders in your data folder
