[Weapon Crafting, Gem Crafting, and Soul Harvesting FAQ]

I have been working on a very detailed, well organized FAQ that deals with Weapon Crafting, Gem Crafting, and Soul harvesting.

The FAQ currently explains the system for making custom weapons in great detail, how to make the kinds of gems you want, what the effects of which gems are, where to get the proper souls for each type of gem, which mud affects what, etc.

Before I make it available publicly I have emailed a copy to the creators of the two FAQs already hosted at Gamefaqs.com to make sure I have properly attributed any information I used that was in one of their FAQs.

Once they reply that they looked my FAQ over and have no problems with it, I will submit it to Gamefaqs.com and make it available here as well.

It has already helped me enormously! I will continue to try and refine it so I can make it an even more valuable resource.

I have a few questions for you all that would help me really top off my FAQ.

1) Where are Undead Soldiers found? Are they in the Mas Ora's Arena in Munari City? They yield Inferno/Orange souls (+ to strength and magic!).

2) Is there anywhere you can fight Khargathalan Swordsmen, Rangers, and Mages besides the three towers you have to take over to open up the bridges for Iari's Seige Tower?

They are generally quite plentiful, easy to kill, and some of them yield good souls. Swordsmen yield soul transfer (black gems!), Rangers yield Urath's Prayer (blue gems, very rare), and Mages yield beguile (purple).

3) Do Tempest Demons spawn anywhere other than in the one time battle for Miridan's Pass? They yield soul transfer (black gems), redemption (no biggie, easy to get elsewhere), and Urath's Prayer (blue gems and apparently NO good place to get them).

In fact, regarding Urath's Prayer/Blue Gem souls, it would appear there is *NO* good place to get them since only Tempest Demons and Khargathalan Rangers yield them. Both of those monsters appear to be in areas you cannot revisit.

4) Lastly, what monsters (if any) drop:

a) level 6-10 gems of any type
b) in particular, orange, blue, or purple gems level 6-10

I just started playing the GC version of this game today (I am one area away from beating the PS2 version) so perhaps I'll have some comparisons available for you all soon.
