RF2 help

I need some help on RF2. I'm at the part where you have to protect the RF fighters in the street. I killed all the snipers, but then it tells me to protect the RF fighters on the street again, and I don't know where to go.

On one of the lower levels, there's a spot blown into the floor. You can go down there and be a hero.
