Hmm, it seems like GameSpot has harrassed THQ into giving them an update on RF's status.

You can click here or you can just read my quote below, which basically says all you need to know:

According to a company representative, the game is in the final stages of development. Currently, the development team at Volition is fine-tuning the multiplayer mode, and they expect the game to meet its scheduled ship date of September 18.

Now, just in case some of you go running out to post...expect to and actually do are two different things. It's not guaranteed, but it's very likely...just making that clear, since the hilarious "Wal-Mart says May 10, THQ says May 22" debacle for the PS2 launch, apparently dates are a little tricky for some of the population of the world...

It also seems I harrassed Alphakiller into making this news post.
