Hey, my account here still works.

Hehe. I think my VBB account got lost when we migrated the board to THQ.

Posted by Ace on 04-11-2002 03:14 AM:

Down with the communist regieme of... ohh hey there!

Sort of odd that the VBB got deletions like that. (see Orange's post below) But hey, at least here you got a little Volition icon to feel special about. (*grumbles about not being paid a salary and having a more special icon like Dave*)

oh ya

better programmer my ass, he tried to figure out smooth shading for like five months, I took one look at the specs and figured it out in five minutes, unfortunatly I'm no programmer so I had to suck up to him, but he was never able to fully implement it so, oh well

I have to thank Orange for pointing it out to me. I came within about a hair's width of doing a spit-take of my beer all over my monitor from laughter. In a perverse sort of way, I think that's probably the neatest way the VBB could close

Now don't be wasting the precious substance known as "beer". Its our continents most precious resource (minus gold, silver, and....TV) and not to be wasted.

Don't worry, its not a Canadian import. (<--- note the well timed Canadian joke)

Ah yes, the flaming of Kazan. Could the VBB end in any better way?

To be blunt, probably the classiest thing you guys could do would be to simply leave him alone. Yeah, there's certainly great catharsis to be had in flaming, but all that does is reduce you to that same level. Probably the only truism in the great sewer that is the internet is the best way to be rid of a troublemaker is to simply ignore them. ::shrug::

Hey Dave before you fade back into the mists of oblivion could you swing by HLP
I'm sure the'd like to hear from you

Thank god

Yeah, probably time to end the flaming. I guess the idea is that on the ship that is already sinking, adding a few extra gallons of water won't be too much of a problem.

Unhappy

So sad to see those forums go. So many good memories there. Though I suppose given its current condition its better to let the place go rather than let it live on in its unmoderated form.

*sigh*

Truly the end of an era.

But I want to have just a little fun, afterall I gotta defend the one guy who can divide by zero! (Stephen Hawking cheats, blackholes aren't fair!)

Anyhow, it is probably a good idea to stop it before the thread gets more out of hand.

I just read that one myself... oh my god; that guy has an ego the size of a small moon.

This is not to say that I could do what he does -- I don't program in C/C++ (god aweful language if you ask me) and most of those things probably couldn't be done in Object Pascal (my native programming language).

Right from my first posting here he seemed to be a tad standoffish, but I never realised he was _that_ bad.
