Freespace MODs for other games

Hey is it possible to do freespace mods for other games if so i am interested in doing one for doom 3, anybody want to help? I can 3d model very well.

Hmmm - yes you can .

Yes, FS mods for other games are very possible - there's a horrendously unbalanced one for homeworld, one for Bridge Commander 2 (or is it Fleet Commander 2? I can't recall...) or some Star Trek RTS, an apparently dead one for Red Faction, and a very early one for Half Life...

yes thanks i thought that too, i'm working on a story line and i know a few people in the modding community for other games so i know that it would be possible to turn doom III into a freespace with better graphics, also FPS stuff, something i have always wanted to do

Also another note, i'm looking for a story editor to help me, want to have a plot that can live up to freespace 1 and 2 so email me if you want to help.

Theres one for bridge commander? If you are thinking of an RTS, than its armada II

no i'm thinking space simulation just like freespace, except mayby some ground battles thrown in their too. I like to think of it as the closest thing ill ever have to another freespace game.
