Mission offered

I made a mission a month ago and have been waiting for terraserver to come back, but I give up. This is a terrible cheesy one but it does have full voice spupport! 715k. Who wants it? Let's just say it is called allyourbase...

Anybody remember that FS1 mission that had all south park voices? Why am I reminded of that right about now?

Hey now. Motherboard model?

And really I'd get a GF2 Ti at the least, that MX is going to hurt you later.

But then again, I'm living in the land of cheap, free-shipping computer stores ...
:hugs Crucial:

Um, Ashrak, I'm a poor college student. That's the opposite of rich.

Then again, prices outside the US are whacked, so you'll notice I mentioned that I live in the land of cheap parts and free shipping? Hence indicating I wasn't fully serious in saying that because I know it might be difficult to find stuff like a Ti-series cheap?

Apparently not.

Too subtle

If I were in the market for a video card, it'd be a Ti for sure. I learned my lesson a few years ago about buying a card that was behind the times.

Sure, go for a bit of a slower processor because its alot cheaper, but don't skimp on video power.

In any case Ashrak, that system sounds good. MAKE CERTAIN that you get good parts. Asus mobo's I pretty much swear by and get the real deal sound card from the people who made it...and not some third party manufacturer.

Yep, you should get better video card.
Drop processor power a bit, if needed. Few hundred MHz does not matter much.

By the way, Samsung displays are good, very good quality in good price. It's the display you use the most.

A few weeks ago I got a P4 1.5Ghz, 256MB SDRAM, 12X DVD-ROM, 12X CD-R, 60GB HD, with a GeForce 2 MX200 for only $800. That was without a printer and monitor, but included a two year warranty. Not too bad, and with a few cheap upgrades to RAM and the video card I should be able to extend its lifetime substantually.

Posted by Nightstorm1 on 12-16-2001 03:11 AM:

Yea, I'll take that mission too. Thanks.
