Correction follows... Sierra did not pull the plug. The order came from Havas, which at that time owned Sierra.

Sierra ain't got but two options right now. Die slowly but surely or then try to make the same thing as LucasArts is doing. Getting back to their origins. Making good games.

I hope Simon Temple achieves what he tries to do in LEC. We are going to see Full Throttle 2 revived, more Monkey Island games etc. Only if they could get Larry Holland make a new Star Wars simulation game (still dreaming for Tie Fighter 2)

Oh, I see... I thought it was all Sierras fault. Well thanks for the correction...

Star Wars Galaxies and Knights of the Old Republic look promising... I think they should put Monkey Island into haitus for a while - MI4 was alright, but it didn't really feel right.. MI3 felt right but was awful.. figures.

I want them to make a Sam & Max 2, but for god's sake, I hope they don't assume "it's a cartoon, must be for kids" and make a stupid brainless action game. I will kill them.

To be honest I've been a bit dissolusioned with LEC games since the latest Indy game... Tomb Raider in a hat, considering that Fate of Atlantis is one of my favourite games.

It really annoys me that people seem to think "adventure games aren't popular any more.." and assume that the natural move forward is into action games.. for god's sake.. an RPG is the natural progression.

Well... Sam & Max 2 is under development by an outside company. But at this moment, only for X-Box...

Best thing to happen would be the re-hire of Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and other gurus back to LEC. That way the good ol' times could be achieved.

But time will tell... now I'm just waiting Eidos to do the right thing and give the Anachronox stuff back to Tom Hall. Damn, I would want to see how Anachronox ends.

Hey, you're not the only one. I didn't think Indy was bad, but it didn't hold my attention as long as I would've liked. The slew of Episode One games preceeding it, however, had done their damage. Force Commander was just the ugly icing on the cake.

Fortunately, JKO revived my faith in LucasArts somewhat. I'll still always stick to the classics however. From Jedi Knight back it's all good.

Actually you are thinking of Star Wars Galactic Battle Grounds, Star Wars Galaxies is a massively multiplayer online role playing game. Galaxies is still in development and is looking great.

Yeah it reminds me about Everquest...

Haven't looked in their homepage in a long time. Has there happened anything new or intresting?
