Discussion: Plot speculation

With fiction as well as a vague overview of the events leading to tBE, what do you think the core of the campaign is about? How will the situations shown in Twilight escallate? Are the Shivans truly involved?

Ace's band of Space crack smugglers are ambushed by Vasudans in Deneb. They scatter and flee to nearby systems, all the while being hunted by the Vasudans. The Campaign revolves around saving them, while posing to be a loyal GTVA Pilot, and having to deal with Shivans and renegade groups...
