Anything interesting come with your copy? I'm assuming not.

Posted by Tarlanon on 03-03-2004 03:58 PM:

I don't know if I would call it interesting, but...

- It came in a huge box (I am assuming the same size box it originally released in, with likely the same box art)
- A rather cheap looking gold sticker (some of the $50 didn't go into this thing) indicating the copy #.
- Printed Manual
- Keyboard quickreference cards. (Nice ones, but totally unecessary for anyone who has remapped the keys anyway. )
- The 3 CDs that make up the original game (looks like original CD art)
- I haven't really checked this but I would assume the patch already installed or at least available on one of the CDs
- An add saying there are over 20 additional missions on the CDs, some of which were fan created. But I haven't gotten around to checking those out yet.

All in all, I would say nothing stunning for the $$$, but I myself am glad to have my own copy (I have borrowed a friend's CDs in the past).

Sounds nice.

Now go install FS2_open and play it the way it should look

i personally think they have made it look worse. (its too dark)

the engine fx are awsome, but it is just too dark.

I have an original copy of the game, and all 3 original CDs. That's infinitly better than FS2LE.

None out of 2000!

Because I still have the original FS2 disks that were burned on my birthday in 1999 in the same condition as when I bought them in October 1999.

Edit: In fact, I still have the original box and instruction manual in a box somewhere in the basement...

Question

Does anyone know if the limited edition has all the same content as the Sci-Fi SotY Edition does, or does it have less/more?

Wonder how many have sold so far...

Congrats goes to the last four replys,

if everyone thinks like that than say good-bye to what might of happened, ever heard of investment?

Funny thing is, its not just this game, people simply dont want to invest in anything anymore!

very short sighted.

quite a shame.
