You might wanna....

....change the release date to 2003 (or by looking at how's it going so far, you might wanna set the release date to 200x)?

Well i heard in the forums one day, that the demo of BWO was gonna be released sometime before Christmas, ( Or i saw it on the home page.) but it seems that since the voice actors can't get their stuff in, I doubt we are going to see it for sometime ( actually, if they are having a hard time trying to get the voice actors to send their files in, why don't people like Icefire, or Black Sheep, or anyone else on the staff send their voices in, unless they already did of course.)

Thats about right

Yeah...I'm really stuck...those voice guys never got back to us. The missing lines are REALLY ANNOYING thing...and I've got a few other bugs I can fix in a days time of work (but I haven't had that time yet). Maybe a new years present...but with a few voice acting lines missing.

But hey, I can't complain about voice actors either...they provided their sevices for free. Of course, so do I...but I'm a crazy fanatical fan...this is fun....maybe...

Oki...the problem with the voice is...that Kellan in the first place forgot to attach one or two lines from Alpha 1 into the voice scripts. We found it out, when all voices were put into FRED...at that point the wavs were finalized for quite some time. That means, the whole voice is finished for three months now, just these two wavs are missing and they won't appear, since the actor went inactive. And since A1 is a pretty big part it is hard to find someone, who is willing to record. BTW, I appear in two or three parts there and other staff members are often as shy as most users are. And god damnit, the A1 part sounds so good, its hard to find a better actor...I do not know how it comes with the mission, if that line can be cut or not...better ask Ice or Kellan...I was just something like a quest worker there...

*Thousands of years in the future*

Ahh, young ones. Did I ever tell you the tale of the lost writings of the FS2 mods? Well, back in the ancient days of over-complicacted operating systems, am elite group of all-knowing gaming scholars came together in an alliance of epic proportions, to add their own chapters to the great Freespace saga. Then... after a few years, the project vanished. Today, the lost writings of the Freespace followers remains one of the greatest mysteries of our people. Maybe, eventually, we will be able to reach into the past to contact these ancient people, and discover what happened.............

It seems that Cepheid future world, is where no one cares about anything expect FS2. The fact is, is that these people are so into the FS series that they continued to create more and more Freespace games, until we get to like Freespace 3000. Then Computers are so advance that they seem too real, so a nutty Freespace freak ( like us ) thinks that he is Bosch, and brain-washes many people to join the NTF, and creates his own ships. They enter their few ships and jump out of the system. Years later the "Bosch-clone" returns with an Armada of Terran ships, but luckly the rest of the world is nutty like Bosch, So they have even more ships than Bosch himself. So then a huge war starts and Bosch and the Earth (If at this point is still called that) fight their hearts out. Hey that sounds like a good story, do you guys think i should write a "Freespace Future World" story? Sorry to bug everyone with this, but i was bored i guess.

Then, just as the battle is about to take place... the system performs an illegal operation, and the virtual reality world crashes.

Heres more to the story for you guys, credit for Cepheid since his last post helped me with the continue of the story.

The Bosch clone then is brought back to the real world, where he finds himself in the mental asylum that he has been since he owned Freespace 2. He is still in the same room where the walls are like giant white pillows, and the cold steel door that has a small opening covered with three bars. The only things that are in his room, are the crappy computer that has the vast amout of Freespace wallpaper and screen savers. His computer is squared-shape, with warships and fighters plastured all over it. It shows the Shivans, Vasudans, and Terrans all battling for survival. He has a joystick to play Freespace with, not the most expensive, or the one that had the most buttons, but he like any real Freespace fan would know that a joystick + Freespace = Maximum fun. The lamp is what gives off the little amount of light that is in his cell. Since people have not invented Freespace lamps, he painted bluprints to some of his favorite ships to the black lamp. He used some of the little amounts of food he recieved per day to paint the lamp. Since the lamp gave light, he was able to play Freespace hours and hours on end without his eyes hurting. Other than the electronics, there was a pile of the strait jackets he had broken free in the corner of the cell. He was able to escape from the pale white strait jacket that was originally strapped and tied to him this morning, the love of Freespace drives his body over the limits, and he finds the strength needed to break through many jackets. Guards check often to see if he is behaving, but this like many times, is cursing the computer for having the illegal operation crap. Guards burst in and restraint him long enough for him to have another strait jacket tied and buckled to him. They keep him off the computer and Freespace so that he can have the least amount of time as possible away from thinking about the end of the world when he rules it as the new and better Bosch. After the guards force him to swallow some pills to make him relaxed and drowsy, they left him on the floor of his cell, defeated. He is left on the floor, exhasted and light-headed from the fight with the guards, but is still tense from the recent break-out. He stares endlessly at the ceiling and trys to rethink ways as to how to escape from his cell and this asylum. Its not until the pills take effect, that he eventually falls asleep, listening to the lasers and beam turrents firing off in the false battle on the screen saver, on his black and dirty computer. So another day ends and so does another part of this story, but i assure you that Bosch, won't be staying in this room, for very long...

...TO BE CONTINUED.

Please give me feedback on my story so far, I love it when people tell me about what they thought about my stories. If you want, please rate it on a scale of 1-10.(or what ever scale system you want.)
