FreeSpace Watch: Interplay Takeover

Titus has decided to take over the troubled (don't we know it) US based publisher Interplay. According to The Register, earlie talks with a Japanese group were blocked by Titus which previously owned a substantial amount of Interplay. According to Blues News, the report release also states that Titus will takeover the Board of Directors in September.

Does this mean there is hope for FreeSpace? I'm not getting my hopes up, but never say never.
