what a bunch of arrogant forumites. So much like us.

Two polls in a row at Interplay's website that pertain to Descent? As a matter of fact, yes, it has been changed, now asking whether you like the classic Descent gameplay or D3 better (oh, and those FreeSpace games). Anyway, seeing as the Descent community is easily twice the size of the FreeSpace community, there's little doubt that one of the Descent games will win, but that's not going to stop me from having a little fun trying to get some people to switch to Descent. Oh yeah... I needed a new desktop too. Anyway, if you haven't already, go forth, and vote for your favorite Descent game.
WAR!!!
heheeheh...
we'd kill them...

OK... but Descent was a trilogy. An excellent trilogy, and it was wrapped up very nicely. I love those games. But, FS2 and its community have been screaming for some sort of closure on the storyline, and there have only been two in the series. Plus, D4 was eventually morphed into RF.
FS2 needs a sequel much more than D3. *continues voting*

Guys...this is/was Planet FreeSpace. FreeSpace Watch used to be called Planet FreeSpace...(and Descent Chronicles).
In terms of foum fighting thats silly. This is as far as I'm concerned a friendly and positive rally. Get all the FreeSpacer's to vote...why? Because it may not make a difference but we can show some solidarity as a community. But do not discourage others from voting either.
This is called being a respectable and responsible person. Try and uphold it.

sorry, i don't have a model, and don't know anyone that does
can't you convert the model using one of the DESCENT MANAGER tools?

something I find funny is that they all seem to have the need to use a high polly pyro in all those teasers, while the FS ships are all the low poly in game models,
interesting isn't it

Ayo!!
guys, we're gonna get ****ed here if HLP doesn't get up soon..

I voted for D1 yesterday. Damn this thing, I can't vote twice at all.
As of 3:35 p.m. Mountain Time:
Descent: 12%
Descent 3: 31%
FreeSpace: 8%
FreeSpace 2: 50%
Descent is getting wacked...
Lets start a stockpile of links to threads on this that are for FS/FS2 so we can hit them up with a Descent rally.
The only two sites I know of are FSW and HLP, the latter of which's forum is down atm. Here's the thread at FSW:

Soupe Du Jour: Voting
Well, if you've not been tracking the Interplay poll right now, it's fast becoming apparent which half---excuse me, two fifths---of the Descent license supporters were stuffing the ballot last time. Now, personally, I'm an advocate of the entire premise of one man, one vote philosophy, but isn't it about this time of night that our share of the poll hooligans are supposed to come out?
