Can't seem to download the music files the links seem to be dead as a dodo!

first it caceled the action and when i hit reload it said page could not be displayed

It means you can't connect to the server.
In this case, since you're having problems approximately forever, it's almost certainly on your end - you haven't been able to connect to any download server, have you?

As a test, I clicked on it just a second ago, and it went through, no problems.

Do you have a download accelerator? I have GoZilla, and when I tried pressing that button it said the same thing, but gozilla started and began to download normally.

yeah some downloads bring up a page that "cannot be displayed" but the download box for whatever program you use comes up and you can download the file

I managed to download everything except the music from 3d downloads i have now tried the one from file planet and it is only 6MB in size which isnt right and after it finished the exe was no valid.

Then, if you haven't already got it, I'd follow Pera's advice and try installing GoZilla and see if THAT works instead.

Advice 1: Check your internet settings, there might be a reason why you can't download from certain places.
(Hints: Cookies, Security and Privacy levels.)
Advice 2: Change your ISP, almost anything is better than AOL.
Advice 3: Change your OS. WinME is piece of crap, either get W2k or even better, get WXP. Even W98se is better than ME.
Advice 4: You have some many friggin' problems that it is about time to do something about them and save your and our nerves.
