Question Babylon 4

Hi, all.

Prompt, please: Is it correct or I have missed any details? (except hangars)

Looks good but it's been a while since I watched Babylon Squared or war without end.

I don't like the Cobra bays, but the rest is looking good.

We did. A nice one. Then it died in a HD crash.

What ?!? That beautiful thing went the way of the Dodo ?
You can't tell me, it was on a single HD.

I still believe you're pulling our collective leg. Nobody keeps important work on a single hard drive without back-ups, especially nowadays when it's even easier than burning a cd-rw to upload as many copies off-site as you need to be sure.

Its true,it was lost in the hd crash of 2003

Question

Well, may I continiue it work? or you have already a finished B4 model and there is no sense to do it?

Posted by Kazan on 03-18-2004 05:29 AM:

we lost multiple B5 models to things like that.. astonished me too

add_developer("asprin");

Asp: Finish the model! We lost the one we had made - and you're is as good as it I think

Fitting for Babylon 5, but... inconceivable!
Aspirin doesn't quite cut it. :p

...well, at least B4 has the chance to mysteriously turn up somewhere in a few years, right? With the risk of everyone dying of old age at that time too... erm... the metaphor is getting too thick, I better stop.

I belive it means that the geometry is correct and I can to paint it?

Posted by Jokoto on 03-18-2004 07:48 AM:

Some shots of details would be nice, but from what we can tell from these shots there doesn't seem to be anything major to complain about. Very nice to see that there are fresh people out there with energy to complete work of this scale! Here's hoping we can still get B5 from somewhere as well...

(Remember backups. Backups, backups, backups.)

Question

Sorry...I forgot ask about one more subject: Have anybody information about B4 weapons?

Posted by tomcat on 03-18-2004 04:13 PM:

It looks square... dude it is ugly..improve it a lot..
and Kazan ..B4 model we had is not LOST at all ..just check the Xaphod's folder..you would be surprised...LOD0 with textures
Just need someone to finish it... ask Bobboau if he can ..

Hmm on a better thought he could finish that "thing" as act as a LOD for Xaphod master piece >

And I don't wanna hear a damn word about backup backup lost files.. is a ****ing lost pointer we forgot that we had a model

Hello everyone. Not been here in a while - been verry very busy.
Just figured I'd point out that my version - a nearly finished LOD0 with weapons, destroyed subobject geometry, and so on - still exists and I think it just needs a little heirarchy / conversion work.. then it needs LODs.
It's in my folder on the FTP.
I'm sorry that I really don't have the time to work on TBP anymore and finish the lods off for this (or texture B5, as many people were wanting me to do); my break after finishing B4 ended up with me deciding to go on a university course, and master's degrees are verrry time consuming.
