Whee! telepath war?

Right, I'm kinda trying to make some missions wich takes place in the teep-war, there's only on problem, that's I don't know much about it (except that it happened). I assume there we're some space battles but I don't know wich cap-ship to use for the "evil" teeps. Some more facts about dates and stuff would help too since the last time I laid my eyes on the serie (or movie) is almost a year ago.

Thanks in advance

huh, I have the Dark Genesis trilogy, but I don't remember that having much detail on the "teep-war" ... but it was a few years since I read it.

Other than the modified Asimov liners I'd bet that the corps would just use standard EA equipment, just built secretly or commendeered for their purposes.

Another suggested approach would be to just go ahead and design your missions using your best judgement and then release them anyway. There are enough people on here with background knowledge of B5 that - if you do get something wrong - they'll let you know about it and you can use the information you gain from them to modify and correct your missions. Then you can re-release the corrected version.

You never know, you might even get it right first time and find that everyone loves it. You've got nothing to lose by having a go.

Good luck

On second book: Deadly Releations, there is how Bester makes the first step for beginning of Teep-war (like "incidental" death of Psi Corps leader, key members vanishing, new order rising etc).

Then there is cap, Bester vanishes in end of war for last conflict with Garibaldi in book: Final Reckoning. First book: Dark Genesis itself is Bester parents and how Bester got in Psi Corps.

Ah, now you're talking, yes, well, I've kinda searched the net for some info and I'd heard some normals fought on the telepath side too, is that true?
Also read that the war was actually about Byron+Lyta+gang against Psi corps and that the EA+ISA just intervered. I'm beginning to wonder if the teep war was a major war...

Normals fougth with telepaths (not Psi Corps, except certain factions) in war, but only later not first.

Byron was a spark for the war and Lyta was the leader of the rebellious side of teeps, at the time Bester could have been described as Psi Corps leader among others. ISA at least took part on it and EA on some level.

This is major war, it took lives of many telepaths and mundanes, mostly telepaths though. Psi Corps was quite powerfull, it couldn't have been overthrown easily.

A lot of telepaths would probably have fought to the death for the corp. Such is the extent of the indoctrination, brainwashing and propoganda.

I can just picture Bester giving a speech talking about how telepaths need "Lebensraum." (I hope I spelled that right.)

(I can also picture Walter Koenig taking a big drink after that scene.)

Naturally, it would have to be Bester... but a duck wouldn't exactly be original, we need something new, fitting for a psi-cop...

Wasn't JMS thinking about doing a movie based on the telepath war a while ago? But he was gonna wait until after all the Star Wars films had been concluded or something? Although maybe thats out of the window I don't know...

Unless I dreamt it...
