Smart, maybe, but he had his own share of problems.

In the past, Kazan has tended not to be much of an..er.. people person. The main cause was his fairly ridiculous tirade aimed at daveb when the VBB closed, which pissed off a fair amount of people (including me, I have to say...)

That said, he's not been annoying of late when he's posted.
