Background music for FS sites

Hmm has anyone thought about making background music for the FS sites? or just taking it from one of the FS games? I say this because the TM site has the FS2_cinema.wav playing...

I think brief1.wav or cinema.wav from FS1 would be great for a website personally

I don't like background music playing when I visit a website, unless it serves some higher purpose. A fansite having music playing in the background is annoying, IMO.

I have to agree with Wild here. I _hate_ background music in websites. It makes the page take longer to load, and I usually don't hear it anyway (thanks to the song stylings of Wayfinder playing on Winamp). Don't use it, IMHO.

Yeah, I usually listen to my CDs when browsing the web, so it won´t even appear.

Well , I got a bunch of the sounds. I can convert them to wav. If anyone wants um then e-mail me...I personally think background sounds are a waste of time due to all the slow 56kers (there are more 56kers then any other connection sadly enough) so , we can't be slowing um down!

BG sound aint too cool unless its an option at say a Flash site. Then thats pretty cool...if its not annoying.

Yes , but if your going to make your website with flash just so you can turn on and off the sound then you got a problem. I (the computer genius of the century) have the ability to design a webpage that allows them to turn it on and off useing javascript. Beat that :P . I still think useing BG sound is still totally worthless though

As for website music, I prefer not, thank you. I often search with music on, and having multiple tracks is....annoying.
