Can't get reg. freespace background up

Why can't I get the regular freespace 2 stuff back on?I try to go back to the regular campaign but it doesn't work.Could someone tell me please what to do.

reinstall FS2, that should do it.

Good god. Don't reinstall because of that. It won't even work that way anyways.

Just rename /tables to /tables_B5 or something like that and it should do the trick.

Yeah, but even after you rename your ships-/weapon.tbl files to ships-/weapons.b5 or something. Some effects still have it's TBP counterpart, like jump point animation.

just rename the all the folders to include "-b5" and it will be all be like new

Uhm....rename the data folder to any name and copy the player dir out of it into a new data folder...BTW, all this info was included in the readme or the setup executive of TBP...
