Dave's Handy Tip-o-the-day

If you're running a debug build, and you go into pstypes.h and comment out RELEASE_REAL, you'll be able to hit L in the main hall to go to a utility menu for quickly loading missions.

You'd probably be best off just leaving RELEASE_REAL for the most part. It turns off a bunch of stuff that's handy for debugging, but no good for a build you intend to actually release (cd checks, etc).

Huh, neat. Not that it's really applicable to me, but interesting nonetheless.

& if you select a multiplayer pilot. Don`t select Singleplayer mission`s and vice versa. Or else funny things can happen, in regard to (game_mode & GM_NORMAL) and (game_mode & GM_MULTIPLAYER), as i discovered when i was fixing the debriefing music for multiplayer.

Well, the basics of C are easy - same as for any other proggy - but actually making neat, fast stuff isn't.....

Remionds me, i have to go back and relearn C after me exams
