Question: What do you want next?

Other than the campaign obviously, what do you want next on the site? More screenshots, more plot, more music, new desktops?

Are there mods? I wanna see some cool mods... not tbl files ...

Or howabout....

hmm..... I dunno now...

I think that if you just update the page about once a week, i think every body would be very happy. i don't mean all kninds of cool media, that would take valuable time away from work on the campaign. just a short blurb to let us know your still alive and somewhat active on the campaign, and, if every one is good and polite on this bbs, then a media file every once in a while.

But please, don't wait 3 months to update your page.

I detect some targeting of the BWO site

Posted by Charger on 03-22-2001 04:41 AM:

What? Me? target the fine people over at the BWO pages for ridicule? do i sound that stupid to you?

DON'T ANSWER THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, i am glad that somebody is awake at the same time as i am for once

We haven't had anything to tell you guys. I was saving the GTI Ceres thing for a rainy day....and thus a picture was released.

Ace has done what most campaign designers don't do. Be silent about the campaign until its closer to being ready. We've done the opposite, we told everyone (because we just couldn't wait) about BlackWater and now you have to wait and suffer with us (yes we suffer) as we do the campaign. Its not easy, but its rewarding and fun in the end.

But being silent until the end doesn't save you from last minute hassle.

I've had plenty of issues with utilities which I've been using to finish up the final packages. (the recent fiasco with the trailer is just one of these issues...)

Don't worry though ladies and gents, you won't be seeing any more bumps on the campaign's release, at least those you will know about.

Oh no, i wasn't criticising your lack of progress, i was just criticising the lack of "i'm Still alive" messages. they don't even have to contain campaign info, they just need to include something that says "all is well" about once a week if there is no new information. after, at the moment, it looks like you guys at BWO are going to have the next campaign for release, and from everything i have seen so far, every freespace2 player out there is probably hanging on every word, pic, and update with baited breath.

True.

Sometimes we forget what influence we have.

Posted by Charger on 03-23-2001 07:04 AM:

Yeah, just make sure that you remember that most of the people are starrting to go into withdrawls for the derelict campaign

And if the person reading this thinks its rediculous,

then you are obviously to addicted to the program to notice that you have a problem.
(of course, i don't really care if its a proble, but thats me)
