Just a few bugs...

well just 1.

in 'Staring into the abyss'

After recieving the order to investigate the distress signal....

I am stuck... completly and totally stuck.

I can not jump, I have nothing to shoot, no where to go...
The Agamenon seems to just continue to travel in 1 direction, and alpha wing just follows me around... Tell me that this is adressed in the upcoming patch or just a bug assosiated with TBP Base.

I have tried taking 'puc-shots' at the individual fighters who accidentally collide with my fury after i stop short.... but that just ticks off all the other guys ....

There should be a small, wavering purple spot in your radar. Head to it.

Here's an interesting bug, dunno if anyone else has mentioned it yet. When flying a mission with the Olympus, the moment it's fired upon and hit one or two times, it vanished without a trace. No explosion and certainly wasn't hit enough times to warrant it's destruction. I tested it by just shooting at it once with the T-bolt and it disappeared. Oh and another bug, sometimes in missions with Raider fighters the targetting system will lock up targetting a Raider fighter that doesn't exist, it won't move, and the red arrow pointing towards the target will always stay on the far right side of the hud no matter how you maneuver. Yet the Raider fighter isn't even there to begin with!

ivanenski, does that all happen in some particular mission or in all missions?

I've only had the problem with the Raiders in the Earthforce Gauntlet mission when I select the part of the gauntlet with the Defense Platform. In regards to the Olympus, it happens all the time, rather it's the Gauntlet, a Campaign mission, or something I throw together just to test for myself.

Since there is now more than one type of FS2 floating about...you guys NEED to specifiy...FS2 Retail (1.2), FS2 Open (what version 3.4, 3.5, 3.5.1, TBP Open) and which pack your using...BASE or full version with TBP.

These sound like FS Open type of errors....disappearing ships and targeting errors isn't specificaly TBP related.

Just like I said in a previous post, FS2_open got some issues with the Olympus corvette (don't look any further, here lies the problem, not in TBP or FS2 retail). Every missions with a Olympus, from whoever made the mission, it crashed to the desktop, when using FS2_Open. Use the retail version, you won't have any problems with the Olympus.
