S2 in the prison

i just bought the game yesterday and i am having trouble getting past the prison...that lady(cant spell her name) doesnt sneak very well

she just getts seen every time

what is the easiest way to sneak and switch off the light beam?

don't have to sneak

you can just fight your way through.....but you get a big bonus if you sneak through

level up stealth until you get sunken state (level 10) that worked very sneaky, otherwise I just snuck through

keep your eyes open, be patient, wait for openings, save every 15 game feet, and above all PRETEND YOUR THERE and how you WOULD NOT BE SEEN, the new sneak system is very relaistic, stay out of line of sight....

have to go back to a previous save

but do not worry it only take about 1 hour to get to this part of the game even if you start all over, once you know what your doing you'll be better off....

Just checking, but you are backstabbing the enemies you sneak upon right? Otherwise if you're not disposing of them as you go along then you'll definitely be seen. That level is all about being patient, watching the guards' patterns, then sneaking upon them one at a time and backstabbing and sneaking again real quickly.

nope

nope I never backstab in that level I always get cuaght if I do...just walk behind them them find a place to hide ..hide as they walk buy then sneaky sneaky....if you kill the guys you can't get the niffty sword they hide in the guards barracks....

i figured it out... i was just lazy before thanks for all of your help...do u have to gain backstab..or do u do it automaticly if ur in sneak and u attack from behind?

it's an assasination skill, pretty ealry skill though ...level 4 I think

It kills instantly if you are right behind them and they don't see you. Otherwise it just does good damage. You have to be in stealth mode to make it kill instantly.

ok ok I figured it out

Every time I tried to kill ALL the guards I got cuaght , but I wanted that bonus......

SO I figured it out!

if you see the guys talking about the sword in the barracks...you can't kill those guys or it'll sound the alarm....

but kill everyone else (backstab wise) and you get the stealth bonus and a bonus for every area you cleaned out....

don't forget about the area above you ...you go up the mountain side near the large circle and there is a ramp ....the iron case is back there for temoura quest too.
