Question .tbl files with Silent Threat

I recently installed the CD version of Freespace and the Silent Threat mission pack (I had the DVD version previously). Every time I try to run the Silent Threat campaign with a weapons.tbl file, Freespace thows back an 'invalid weapon type' error, but the weapons it's saying are invalid are in fact the ship types!
Can anyone help me with this?

I'm assuming you're using a modded tbl file with Silent Threat? In that case there's an error in the mod file.
If not, elaborate further.

I'm using a weapons.tbl file I downloaded from Volition Watch (from the FS1.zip if I remember correctly). The only changes I made to it before trying it with Silent Threat was to turn down the wait time on firing the Prometheus to I think 0.05.
I haven't had any problems with running low firing times in either the Main campaign or the Gauntlet missions in the Tech room (I've been using a 0.01 firing time for the ML-16, and 0.05 with the Avenger (I just recently started playing again.))

ST had some changes to the tables, if the tables you have are from a pre ST FS they might not work, but then again it might.

So is there a way to get a POST-Silent Threat set of .tbls? Would I need to hack my Freespace.vp file? How would I go about such a thing?

Download VPView32 from descent-network.com. Extract the Silent Threat tables.

ST adds new ships and weapons.
