Release Date ??

Ok we have mentioned so many release dates now it not worth promising another. I just wanted to say the first release IS VERY CLOSE. please dont be disheartened that it hasnt been released in august like we said, we have a realistic date set, and its in the not-so-distance future....we really are close to completion of the first release materials. We didnt say an end of august release out of heste, we want a great first release and it really is a matter of finishing, polishing and touching up various areas of the mod. Best I can say is one day you will come and the release will be available VERY SOON. So don't be disheartened the material will be release soon this time.

Work that needs doing :

Ringstation lod 1, 2 and 3 textures
Nova lod 0, 1, 2 and 3 textures (somewhere complete unsure how far along)
Frieghter lod 1, 2, 3 textures
Aurora lod 1, 2 and 3 textures (may have been started)
Hyperion lod 1, 2 and 3 textures (again this has been started i believe)
Effects v3.0 release (next few days)
Tbl tweaking - ongoing
Voice acting implematation - ongoing
Mission tweaking - ongoing

One or two other areas but basically thats it for the raw materials, we will test for a few days i suppose as one final check, then compile the material, not sure how, probably an installer package of some sort, then we'll upload it and give you the links

Yes, its pretty much confirmed to be in the first release. We're still working on its tables a bit as its not quite balanced.

Most of the ships are indeed quite well balanced, although we expect things to change over time as we add more ships.

Think of it as fine tuning, now that we have a base to work off. Its not perfect and its not 100% Babylon 5...but its 85-90 percent Babylon 5 with ample respect for the gamer, and gameplay.
