Voodoo Surprisingly neither voodoo nor" Extreme put up their best of E3 deal. The list (which doesn't seem to be in any particular order) is all PC games sans Rogue Leader, which receives a Best Console Game of Show award because lord knows how many lamers would flame them if they dared to include it in the normal list. Anyway, Red Faction is somewhere in the list (on the third page I believe). VE homeboy pretty much sums it up as I did admitting that while there were prettier and more popular games at the show, RF was just way too damn cool. In case you were wondering, Max Payne took their Best of Show award with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault trailing as a close runner-up. I saw the Payne video (didn't play it) and was decidedly unimpressed. Even though Dead to Rights (PS2) was far less aesthetically pleasing I thought it had incredible gameplay (which looks to be in the same vein as Payne), and that's what it's all about. At least, that’s what it’s supposed to be about, right? I just don’t see how you can make a game best of show without playing it, unless they did of course, which I seriously doubt.
