What joystick are you using in your fast computer?

I am currently "using" a SideWinder Precision 2. The usb port is convenient. But the SideWinder Precision 2 is not as good as my joystick of choice: my SideWinder 3d pro. The SideWinder 3d Pro just behaves better.

But I can't get my SideWinder 3d Pro to run on my newer faster computers. Is there a way to get it working properly? I heard that win2000 would do it, but I'm running win98se, which, of course, is the better os for gaming. I heard also something about "joyfix". What is that?
