FreeSpace: Machina Terra's Apocalypse almost finished

Styxx has just informed everybody on the VBB about an update on the Machina Terra MOD project, and specifically, it's main mammoth ship, the TFDx Apocalypse. Styxx explains more in this VBB thread:

Today, the TFDx Apocalypse is entering beta testing stage. By this time, it is already at the hands of the project testers and, after a few corrections and improvements are made, it will be made available to the public.

The ship is almost 20 kilometers long, and carries 68 beam turrets, 8 missile turrets, 2 torpedo launchers and one main weapon. The beta version is a complete model, except for path and docking information - that will be added as soon as the ship is completely tested and proven to be bug-free.

If everything goes well, the model will be available for download still this week. New screenshots of the ship - with weapons working - are available at the Machina Terra Website.

Wow! This is definately NOT a ship you want to be going up against, and it sounds hella cool! Good work Styxx!
