Summoner Watch: Voodoo Extreme Summoner Review

Eidolon over at Voodoo Extreme has just posted his review of the PC version of Summoner today. Overall, the game was given an 82% claiming that the game was strong in areas such as story, lasting fun, and multiplayer, while just being average in all other areas. The review was well-written though, so I'll show you some quotes.

Here's a little blurb on the story:
Summoner’s plot is surpassed only by the magnificent back-story created by Volition. There are a number of people who you will encounter in the world that will give you more information not only on your quests, but also on the history of Joseph’s people and other history. While the present story may not be amazing and all that original, it is engaging enough to keep one interested throughout.

And here's another glance at the architecture/level design of the world:

Each city you visit is unique in look and feel. All feel alive, with up to hundreds of NPCs in each city. The important non-player characters have exclamation points over their heads, so you always know which ones have possible information for your quests. The architecture in the game is just amazing – you can tell the designers put a lot of time and effort into creating an intricate world.

This review is definitely worth a look. It's well done, accurate, while still being brief. Check it out!
