I haven't had time to check out the latest version yet, but there's one thing I noticed in the first version: The nial's beams cycled too slowly, ie. a single shot lasts too long.

If you have already fixed this, then nevermind.

makeing an update that makes thruster glows grow brighter based on wich direction they are pointing and wich direction the ship is trying to go
and an updated starfurry model that takes advantage of the new engine addition
remember to set slideing in the control configuration to be able to test this

I will try to make an improvement that dose a similar thing baised on wich direction the ship is trying to turn, but it will be a while before I get that done

I've got the AI to use slideing while atacking,
I strongly urge everyone who can to download this and retry the E-M war demo with it, you can see the star furries slide thrusters going on and nails circle around you faceing you, and you can see starfurries fliping around and shooting at there persuers (I think I saw a little of that), it's great

put the DLLs into the FS2 folder, otherwise it won't work

I still can't play the campaign. After enterning in the mission it simply exits to desktop. No bitching no nothing... And most annoying thing is that I have this feeling I've had this kind of problem before. But can't remember why, when, why and why...
Simple dogfight mission works fine (althought the stoped is getting annoying).

I have the same problems with the campaign. And there is still this weapon loadout thing.

P.S. I think it was really the third time:

quote:
Are the dll's to be put in the data or the fs2 folder?

quote:
P.S. Should the dlls be in the FS2-, in the datafolder or anywhere else?

oh I thought the first time got answered, I don't know why it's bitching about those DLLs, but try putting them in the root directory,

ok for those crashing, lets see the debug spew

and to get the slideing for you're ship you must go into control config and set them, it's in the ship controls section (up thrust, down thrust, left thrust, right thrust), AI ships should be useing it when atacking and evading, if you look closely you should be able to see the glows on the sides of the starfurries glowing brighter when they go in the direction opisite to the thrusters, or when you go into exterior view and slide

and if you thought the stopped thing was anoying wait untill you try the exterior veiws (it shows the thrusters' directional thrust properties in nice big collums)
