just because HLP is down doesn't mean we can't be productive in the mean time. kasperl, what exactly did you want to do with the command line references?

Posted by Flipside on 06-26-2004 02:15 AM:

I'm usually more productive when HLP is down

Ditto. And veen more so when my PC isn't connected to the net at all. When I have an IM Proggy on, I don't feel like doing anything. It's strange.

Kinda OT but I've been awake a really long time and I don't really care.

I spent about 27 hours working on memory problem in FS2_Open, tested and uploaded a build Wednesday night, sent a few PMs out and then the forums died. Now I've finally got time again to fix any problems and no one even knows to test the build. Pretty much sucks.

The build is experimental enough that I don't want it public yet but if anyone was/is having memory problems (or your name is Kosh or Lightspeed) then e-mail me here "taylor (at) icculus.org" and I'll get you the build.

I've got a free 1 and 1 account, from the giveaway awhile back.

Edit: Make that 500 MB.

Freespacewatch is almost 3 GB. that's not including the archives, forums, etc. so i'm pretty sure HLP's a hell of a lot bigger than 500 MB

Could it be someone is DDosing?

OK, now I just get "the connection was refused when contacting dynamic4.gamespy.com".

RM: the table from the quick ref page on top, each entry linking to the big explanation down below. WM already made the headers useable as links, try it out.

Ugh so we are ditching the templates all together?

Posted by kasperl on 06-26-2004 11:35 AM:

Unless we want to ditch WM's work completely, yes.

Look, I am not really happy with it either, but WM's stuff seems to work, and we could adapt some of his stuff to kinda fit the template.

Say, do you have a recent wiki backup? I have one from 3 months ago, but nothing recent.

not really sure how to go about that. I think I will save the html files when HLP comes back up. I have a backup of the SCP FAQ forum though.
