i would like to see the return of the Galatea. it was a a proud name. if not that, then how about the GTVDn Intrepid. after all, this is a ship that is designed to sail boldly into battle against the enemies of the GTVA

The ship's class in GTVDn Bastion. But not every Bastion class ship will be called Bastion...

If I do believe right, and I'm hoping I am not saying anything that Psycho doesn't want out... When this ship is in the Campaign it is classified as the GTVDn Dante.

personally, id rather it be the name of a virtue or something along the lines of the colossous, like the valiant, or the camelot, or intrepid, or even better the Constellation.

I understand your frustration. if you read the post i put up in one of the other forums, you would read something along the lines of this:

a ship is a ship, but your first ship, now thats something special. people wnat to return to those happy times onboard the galatea.

this feeling is caused by the fact that everybody out there is going into withdrawls because its been a while since a campaign has been released. these arguements will probably continue until the next campaign is released and then most of your hecklers will probably disapear into the tech forum to argue over the new points raised in the new campaign.

so hang tough, roll with the punches, remember that almost all of them mean well, and can we drop the 2 off of the end of the name, its incredibally tacky and insulting to the ship. she demands respect because she is the very best that can be sent down the ways, and most of all, she is second to NONE.

1 is enough. 2 is even good (when done right, ie Dark) but Mk II is overused.

and it's staying as Bastion. so, theres really no reason to keep this alive.

yaeh, but unfortunatly its like the old family Hornet, its been on the road since 1979 and is still going strong, it was even driven 50 miles on the freeway after it lost its oil pan, but the only major repair that thing ever had (other than a new oil pan) was a new interior. it just refuses to die.
