Xaphod steps out of the bathroom... instantly severe radiation burns appear over his body, and his hair falls out.

Xaphod sighs. "Always while I'm on a night out. It was the same in Hiroshima and Nagasaki back in the 40s... Then that brief swimming trip by the muraurora (sp?) atoll..."

Xaphod takes a RAD-X pill. Because Xaphod has a good radiation resistance, and was in the toilet when the bomb went off, Xaphod rolls a 6, a 4 and a 5, successfully avoiding dying hideously.

Meanwhile my new 3ed character, Cuinsear Faileas, takes out his Flaming Longbow of True Striking, and shoots off 9 volleys of arrows at Boct. That's (9d4)x2 + 9d6, and I roll a maximum roll on each, so that's 126 damage.

So you most liekly step on that character, right? So I bring in my next new character, Cuinnsear Faileas, who starts playing his instrument. With his +30 to his perform check, he does an extraordinary performance. This calms everyone, and the fighting stops long enough for the bar to be rebuilt.

Okay I'll stay calm for awhile. Man the duels have been fun
