this SW ship is what I would call a overkill.
Who needs planets when you have got ships of that size....
But do you realy like the design? This "We can only build flying trangle" stile?
I mean... the Star Destroyer is good ship for assaults and running blockades.
The Executor...well OK still good best support ship ever seen ''

But this.... I don't want to talk about this topic anymore....

BTW have you noticed the similar desing from Star Destroyers and NARN ships?

i would disagree the vorlons have sheilds tech on there ships - i think acaul sheilding is very power intensive and can only be fitting to large installations like teh 3rd space gate which was vorlon adn which did have sheilds very good ones infact - but i neversaw any such effective energy barrier on any acaul ship - perhaps the vorlon planet killer can use shields but obviously not when preping its main gun - cause it got blasted as it prepared to blow away corriana 6

and this ship does indeed have nough power to supply its weapons - mostly it doesn't have much in the way of antifighter weapons however it does carry significant number of fighters - so combined with 8 fusion reactors advnaced models - it can fire upto 4 of the god cannons at any one time while its engines are online if it diverts all power from teh engines and jump drive then i can fire all 8 but not advised

the plasteel armour that reflects 80% of the damage away from the ship was invented by humans - this baby comes fully equipedwith it - and while it doesn't have a vorlon gun - i think 4 god cannons is suffice for most needs and wont render the ship unusable for a minute - name a ship that will surive 4 god cannon blasts symultaneously - i doubt you'll find many and most of those that cant have left beyond the rim and even that its planet killers - a battelcrab wouldn't take god beams in my opinion 1 sure - 2 its going to be in pain - 3 i doubt it - 4 not chance in hell

as fpor the star wars ship - yup less than amazing design but the concept of ship that big woohooo =) and the zuaahan vong are a race that invades teh galaxy about what 20 years after tehfall of the emipre there ships are bio engineered but only slightly better than what the new repulic is using - they can disable sheilds unless speical modifactiosn are made to fighters and capital ships and they use mini black holes as shields which needs to be fooled into failing by using low powered blasts but thousands of them to make them over streth there absorbsion abilities tehn a full power blast is sent striaght though - they are indeed tought and they exsist pretty much outside teh force althouh anakin (han and leias youngest son) can now sense them just - they worship pain and want to enslave the whole galxy and torture us essnetially - and they are winning cause the new repulbic doesn't have enough star destroyers left and the scrapped the lusyanka the idiots - which there are afew vong shisp that big but very very few and they are more haitation ships thatn warships i dont think they ahve anything the power of an SSD but you never know the series is far from finished

sure we will win in the end rouge squadron amoung others is on the job so its only a matter of time although luke is beign abit winpy and is refusing to go out and stop them although i think anakin is doing a better job he can sense them now

also they are being moral and avoiding using centerpoint station to blast the vong out of esistance - incase your unfamiliar with centerpoint station in the corilian system - its a monster station that has a weapon taht makes the death starts look poxy and puny - can blow up stars from light years away destroy planets or fleets of ships the exact same way - although i think the vong are now giving a corilia a wide birth cause they know about it now and it was used once against them rather inefictally though took out half a friendly fleet and clipped the edge of fondor taking part of that with it and all theis took place after the fondor ship yards had been destroyed =( not good for the new repulic at all - anakin was swither wther to fire it or not cause it is attuned to him but then han solo's brother fired it for him and he didn't have good aim sadly =(

anyway i think i rattled on for long enough for now

and one other thing that ship doesn't look half bad the ea one - might want to refine the model slightly still looks abit blocky but not bad at all - the design i think looks like somethign teh ea might come up with for more an omega era dreadnaught certantly more ea than the what was it called helv argh ic ant remember

The thirdspace aliens HAVE shield tech and Lyta said they modified the gate .

The Vorlins on the other hand built the gate to get out of the galaxy . Why would there be any need to install a shield system ?

So , this , togther with the fact vorlon ships don't] have shields makes me think that the thirdspace-aliens modified the gate not only to enhance their telepathic signals , they also installed the shield system.

This would be highly logical.

yup the warlock does only have 2 but this isn't a warlock and - i dont know - installing a shield generator would take alot of time - i think its just a system for large high powered structures - besides what good would shields be if the vorlons started firing at it - a dreadnaught could penetrate them and a planet killer would atomise the thing shields or not

I have never seen Vorlon shields. In the battle of Coriana 6 (was it six?) I saw Shadow beam burrowing in to a Vorlon ship, and there was no visible shields waht so ever...

I've come up with a new design for an Earth Alliance Super Star Dreadnaught!!!!. It's based on 4 Nova hulls strapped together. It also has 8 launch bays which connected to the rear of the vessel and 3 rotating sections. The weapons systems of the ship are based on the Warlock and Victory class. The 3 rotating sections provide the base for the Victory style main gun, whilst all the standard Nova turrets have been replaced by Warlock particle beams!!!!!! In a fight this ship should be able to destroy a Vorlon Star Dreadnaught. I'm calling this ship the Awesome class. This is the best ship ever!!!!!!!!
