Oh boy, all those typos really stand out and poke me in the eye... hard. The use of language is an area that definitely needs work, guys. I wonder if I could help with proof-reading them... In CptWhite's screenshots (I don't know who made those missions) there's the old horrible typo "commondore" (No n! No N in commodore!) and "cease" instead of "seize" that would make sense there. Getting the english right goes a long way in giving the missions a professional look. The best of campaigns can ruin the feel with typos and clumsy (even erroneous) dialog. I guess I'd be willing to go through the text data in missions to weed out at least the worst cases... Yeah, I'd be happy to (if I have the time).

Congrats on the 1000 posts, Edwin.

Geez, I've been here almost three years now and I don't even have 1000.

Jokoto if you have something to complain about it, dont play it. That works quite well. That is my mission and I'm very aware of that typo, just forgot to fix typos when I was collecting pieces of my nerves back in a one pile, so sorry.

Besides I have grammar checker, but thats for my campaigns not for single missions.

Oh no, did you get offended? I didn't mean to be harsh. It's just something I always notice, and would like to help to improve that area if I can. I'm offering assistance here, not bashing anyone. It is an important aspect after all! I'm not saying this to you specifically, but to all mission creators. If the language in the missions is error free, they look that much better. Don't overlook it's importance!

Not offended by any means, but just makes me feel frustrated that people expect us to be perfect. You really can't be serious that I should know english more than that, minor details can be let by, dont they?

Besides I'm FREDer not a proof-writer, unless I accidently picked up a wrong status

Besides I'm FREDer not a proof-writer,

Well I wasn't exactly demanding it...
It's just that I personally think it's important to have the language as error-free and polished as possible, since it's half of what conveys the story of a campaign. When it's high quality and the mission works, the result is a (near?) professional quality mission. That's why I said I'm willing to help with proof-reading if someone wants assistance.

Yes I agree, but I wasn't writing a campaign there, only a mere teaser mission for fun

Anyway pointless argue
