Is a G'Quan better than an omega? I thought narn ships are the worst.

I think they are talking about appearance wise not weapons and who would in this scenario etc.

I don`t know. I find the omega class destroyer quite striking. About half of my B5 backdrops are omega class destroyers

Omega is definately more flexible and overall more powerful than the G'Quan. The G'Quan is a heavy cruiser with limited fighters, heavy armor, and pretty much all its power in offense. The Omega is a destroyer, it works more as a power projection device, able to fight with very powerful fore and rear weapons but relies on its fighters more than anything to disable/disrupt enemy capital ships and cover the Omega's flanks.

I'd put the Omega at a level above the G'Quan....but its kind of unfair. The G'Quan is more in the class of the Midwinter/Hyperion...and its bigger, stronger, and better than both of them.

Omega is an impressive ship, it is a match to almost every other ship out there. Except Minbari Warcruiser, FO ships and a few other random appearances.

And I like how EA ships looks like, they seem to be human in design, not alien. As it should be.

EA favors destroyers, builds bigger ships with very large number of fighters. Most other races simply have smaller cruisers, with small number of fighters and offensive firepower. EA's got them all, although result is costly, bigger and more unmaneuverable ship.

So all in one, I like Omega class destroyer very much.
I don't know why tomcat hates EA ships so much...

Like someone once said: "Omega is so ugly that it is almost beautiful."
G'Quan is a beautiful ship as well, as you can also see in our screenshots section.

all ea ships are ugly ****ing bricks Omega ..Nova ..Olympus..i hate them..I REALLY HATE THEM..the only nice looking ship in ea inventory is Hyperion.

GQuan is more beautifull then 1000 Omegas ..I'd put it in same class as Omega Ice not in Hyperion class..those Xray Laser are extremelly powerfull not to mention the presence of Energy Mines...and not to tell that Twin arrays are a class over EA pulse guns. Also seems the narn are more for a brute force adepts and the best defence if the offence. They seems more like Royal Navy in WW2. The ships designs ..(most of them where quite old) not very well armed not very fast ..but with a very High Battle spirit..

Most "alien" ships look pretty human made to me (duh), but there are some ships that I find real "alien" (weird) looking. Like the ones from the 3d space movie.

Can you honestly say that for example, G'Quan or Sharlin could be human vessels? Well, Centauri perhaps are pretty close to what I would expect human vessels to be.
