the name of the war changed alot back then:

7 year 3 month 2 day war

7 year 3 month 3 day war

7 year 3 month 4 day war

actually in Hades defense, during the war, they probably did call it something along the lines of T/V war, T/V conflict, etc etc.....

Yeah, I think it was called the Terran Vasudan War while it was happening, and the 14 year War after it was over. Our project takes place DURING the war, so it would be called the Terran Vasudan Conflict, or War, depending on how early in the war it was happening.

Ok. It's just that I get nervous when you say T-V...... What does that sometimes refer to?

Perhaps you could have the GTA refer to it as the Interstellar War.

Maybe since there are only two parties involved they simply refer to it as "the war".

"The war continues to drain supplies from all sections of the GTA. Food rationing is in effect on twelve of the major colonies and Earth, prompting blah blah bloh..."

I doubt every officer is going to say "the Interstellar Conflict Between Homo-Sapiens and Vasudans across Several Sectors" each time s/he gives a briefing. Even the media doesn't have a blindingly official name for everything. Hince "the war on terrorism".
