It isn't impossible you know (well at least I think it isn't) -- It will be easily done by just disabling the new weaponry :] Or changing what the turrets spill at you...

Just disable some turrets or change the weapons. I intend to make a Signs and Portents mission sometime in the future.

Or we can pregenerate two table entries for B5, that way fan made missions will have same armament for pre-upgraded B5.

B5's weapons also have a massive range, so it can pound warships before they get close enough to do much damage.

As far as I can tell B5's weapons have a similar range to the heavy weapons on capital ships and probably not as far as most beam weapons. Once you get over a certain distance, effective range becomes a matter of targeting not the "theoretical" range of the weapon. The targeting issues mean that effective ranges of over a few kilometres are rare in B5 but certain lasers seem to have ranges of many hundreds of kilometres if fired at a stationary target.

you forgot the greate mashine, 3-6 LAR- no HU- no biger Colosial beam weapons, asume 2 can be brought to bear at any point around the planet, and 60 or so missle launchers, with everything from point defence rockets to sharidens spechal, the Nuke! Never forget the graeat mashine, Doing so would be bad, if not deadly
