The best way to take control of a planet is to fill Planet-x:s atmosphere with helium. Then the public statesmen and high ranking officers etc. start talking funny and nobody couldn't take them seriously anymore. After that you just land the troops and slave everyone.

This works for reasons:

a. Everyone highranking personnel speak funny so nobody takes them seriously and reliability drops :>

b. You can't think of a military commander who speaks with a whiny voice
