my experience while building and setting up tens of Raidsystems each week: the highpoint raid seems to be pretty faster - and NONE of them in 2 years of IDE-Raid sucked! And I don't need to wait for getting one - I'm busy with them each day and if you once have worked with a raid you will determine the "little" difference...no further comment. And I don't need to imagine anything - I did and do my experiences and don't need to look for some §$%"§$"2-tests. So far in this case.

Nevertheless my congrats to Alphakiller that he at least also wishs to get a Raid-controller
