Maybe some sorts of black ops missions would be nice. With that, you can have a lot more freedom, because nobody ever knew it happened!

Any demo campaign would not be anything to do with Skullar's full EA Civil War campaign but would instead be focussing on some other aspect of an EA engagement (set in any time period from the construction of the first Omega Destroyer to the time of Crusade). The only exception may be the possible inclusion of a simplified "Severed Dreams" battle.

You could set the campaign whenever you wanted in this time period - vs Raiders, Minbari or Civil War but you definitely need to have a defined campaign, not a bunch of single missions strung together, with a noticable beginning, a middle and an end to it.

You'd be waiting several months....not a couple more weeks. You really should try your hand at these things Ashrak. Its not easy and not something that is just pieced together.

I also said, MOD policy has been made that releases should have a limited campaign and that team campaigns should be a full fledged production and therefore separate.

Story is original and currently set around the time of Legend of the Rangers. Its a defined campaign. We'll also try and have a few single missions to play with as well. Alot of people on the team like my Omega test battle. I may fix that up a bit and send it out too (its not anything scripted or special, just a bunch of Omega's pummeling each other).

My thoughts-The missions were excellent and the speed and agility of the nials were spot on
Might I suggest for maybe a future campaign, have a split one for example the first part you play on the EA side (defending/retreating) and in the middle you are on the Minbari side(attacking/advancing) and finish up the campaign back on the Ea side defending earth.
You could break up the campaign using the command briefing explaining what happening. This way you can play both side in one campaign

Ooh, back on my black ops idea, it would be neat to have a short campaign based on efforts to create bioweapons after Dr. Franklin's unfortunate lack of cooperation. Although the outcome would be obvious, it could revolve around a group of elite EA units first being dispatched to try and capture some Minbari, then maybe a chase and skirmishes as they move from base to base, avoiding the Minbari who know what they're up to. I don't know how to make a grand finale to that though. As you can see I don't plan things out very well

That sounds good. As we know there were black ops being run. Sheridan collected all the ones he could like the Bureau 13 thing. I'm sure that there are lots of ideas that could be put in with them. I'll try to think of some.

I recently watched the 'Endgame'-episode of B5 again. There's a scene with a Starfury from the pilot's view. I just wondered, if it would be possible to make a real Starfury-Cockpit instead of the original FreeSpace HUD.

If you mean a real 3D model...then the answer is no....it's not possible.

Even a more "Starfury-oriented" 2D model has proven difficult due to certain elements having to be in certain locations and be certain shapes/sizes and don't forget that other than manually changing the files before loading each game, the same cockpit is used whether you are flying a Nial, Thunderbolt, Frazi, Sentri or Starfury. A generic cockpit that looks good is the best compromise.

Exclamation A weapons thing.

Something I have never seen taken advantage of in any Freespace 1,2 or TBP. Weapons that fire in bursts. This should be added to some weapons. Here is an example I made for Freespace 2, a Terran Huge Turret the shoots in bursts of three for the Orions triple barrel turrets. This could be applied to things like the EA Heavy Plasma Cannon 1. Use the $Swarm = X were 'X' is the burst size. Simple.
