I think the GeForce 2 MX would be a nice choice for a cheap PCI card.

Non-DDR RAM is still pretty freakin' cheap these days, and a PCI card...well, yeah. If you can find one, grab a GeForce 2 GTS...at the least try an MX400. The GF2 MX200 is seriously crippled...not worth it IMO.
So...yeah. GF2 MX400 sounds about right and I know you can grab one of those for $60ish or less.
