Naah, I have 512in/out DSL for about 35$ a month! And the install was free.

Seriously, around here, im stuck on 45,333 rate connections via 56k modem, average 2.5k/second download and usually about 10 meg/hour so book me 15 hours of download time at some point to get the Mod the only problem is im net obsessed .. if im awake im on it cant bear doing downloads then, find myself bored hehe, and when im asleep the rest of the family take there chance to get at the phoneline for a few hours

i *could* get Isdn but id have to pay about £50/month (about $75) and then 2p per minute evenings and weekends (3 sense) and 8p per minute during the day (about 13 sense) seriously unfeasable, when a standard unmetered 56k contract is £10/month with no call charges
No ADSL (BT doesnt seem to have planned to come to my area) and no cable ( i live in wales, and despite all the ads saying how available cable is they only do one city in wales and have no plans to extend cable service)

broadband options suck round here and *&%@ happens

i remember the days of the 56k modem

i really could not back on a 56k modem now

Actuall, the mod's being released in binary, on paper. You need to copy approximately 18 rainforests worth of 10101101010111 into your machine. Make any mistake and the game won't work.
