Amusing how "that line" ends up being a full page of text, eh?

Ok. So here's my thoughts. I spent a long time thinking it out. But it's a bit late now and I had all my thoughts on the cappella incident nice and clear, but that was around the time of the last corrupted profile glitch in the forums and I couldn't post, so here's a brief summary of what I think:

- Shivans destroy Capella to create another nebula.
- Maybe the shivans can reproduce only in nebulas, and nowhere else, somehow.
- Shivans will move from star to star, creating nebulas, perhaps trying to reach Sol for their main reason.
- In the end movie, notice that _most_ of the santhanae jump out, not even half, as there were only about 4-5 santhanae left when capella exploded.
- The santhanae that DID jump out most possibly could've jumped out just to avoid the capella explosion, and jumped back in just after the supernova.
- The remaining santhanae had to stay in order to make sure the supernova _did_ happen
- Maybe the shivans were an expendable species/invention(?), able to reproduce faster than any other race, so leaving the shivan fleet(that was holding off the convoy escaping capella) to be destroyed by the supernova didn't really matter to the shivans.

Ok, that's all I can really remember right now. Sorry if it's all clutter and nonsense. But if it does make sense, do give feedback. I wanna know what the hell happened, and gathering theories could bring a solution.

Oops, one more thing...
- Now that the shivans are isolated in the capella nebula(eh?), they have time to rebuild and reproduce for maybe another offensive.
- The shivans had the knossos 2 portal in gamma d., so it's possible they now have the knowledge to build their own knossos, just like the terrans-vasudans.

*yawn.*

How many times do I need to say that a supernova spreads the gas too far out to be of any use? It'd take 20 years to reach it again, even with these ships. The dust is spread out to almost one light-year of the star's original position.

This is not intended to be a flame, I just can't help wondering why no-one realizes this. The two most likely theories are that they wanted to create a black hole (someone else can figure out why, though I doubt that the Capella star is large enough to manage that; perhaps a neutron star) or simply wipe out all Terrans in that system.

Oh sorry. No need to be an ass.

He wasn't being an ass, just flaunting his intelligence...

If you want to know about Shivans, ask Ace.

Another thing. Shivans don't seem to need Knossos portals to get around, as Ace, I believe, had said, they may be their own knossos in a sense. Shivans seem to have the ability to travel through the most unstable of nodes.

As for Capella, they wouldn't destroy it just so they could multiply and conquer... There are billions, if not trillions of Shivans in the universe. A seemingly endless amount. If they were really out to eliminate the Terrans and Vasudans, they would have sent countless more into Allied Space.

It is my theorie that the Shivans wanted something that maybe only the Capella star could give them. I think the rather small offensive of the Shivans this time around, was a smokescreen, if you will, for the impending destruction of the Star.

The great war sent out a search party for a star matching their needs. The Shivans could have known that the Capella star was like that, and said, you know, a Lucifer can take this thing out...

When the Lucifer arrived, it found Terrans, and Vasudans. The warring species resisted the Shivan incursion, and thus created a war with the Shivans. When the Lucifer was destroyed, the Shivans took 32 yrs to rethink their attack on us. they came to the conclusion that if they stage a small war in our systems, that would distract us while the real fleets made it's way towards Capella. When we were preoccupied with the Sathanas, 20 more entered, and surrounded the star, and well, you know what happens after that.

But what is it that made the Capella star unique? What did it have that no other star had?
