I just realized how much those 3 question marks annoy me...

i just realised how little i come around these days :blah:

ahwell. i see everything is going nicely, i'm guessing that BWO is being slowed down somewhat by the new additions being brought forward by the SCP.

i think they should release it first and then release a patch with the changes.

Since the SCP upgrades don't work well on my computer, causes all sorts of slowdowns, so i don't use it.

IMO, the shiny updates makes the ships look worse, they look better as they were before, especially the bigger ships.

I just play the plain FS2, since that works without a problem at all.

You are a member of an extremely small minority who doesn't like the SCP.

That'd be way to much work...were doing it one way and one way alone. I expect it'd work for the most party without SCP but its best to use it. Now that 3.6 is out we'll have a bench to work from...its very stable and fast. You CAN disable everything and play it like retail FS2 (no HT&L, no shinemaps, etc.).

No...working too much.

Still need help doing MODs/texture work (not the big fancy modeling kind...just some retexturing, retouching, and putting together ANI's in an organized way).

I reckon you might be surprised. Just general PS knowledge, which you obviously would have, would probably be a very good basis from which to start at least practicing textures.

Heh, just get one off of a file sharing program such as (cough) emule and (cough)kazaa. I know its considered stealing but people like us never seem to have the cash to buy stuff like that.

Two minor updates:
1) Only one mission not yet finished.
2) New website nearly done...no new content for now but looks very spiffy...

This campaign looks so incredibly good that I have been eager for it's release for over a year. My props to a good demo btw. I like the touch of giving the Player Character a name and a voice. I can't really offer my services, I lack such skills.

However, if anyone would like some sort of original music for this campaign I may be able to assist if you know the format of the music files. Just an idea if there is any sort of demand for such a thing.

The program I'm familiar with is Fruity Loops. Which is perfect for creating something that might be used for Freespace.

I've played both original campaigns at least 15 times each. (Lucifer Fleet was good, Sathanas Fleet was better.)

Lucifer Fleet > Sathanas Fleet.

Infact, FS1 Story > FS2 Story.

is it too much to hope that those updates include voice overs?
