besides i'm sure that with all the voice overs they are doing will be well worth the time. And if you complain that you don't hear anything or experiencing trouble hearing them, clearly there is no solution and you will simply have to play the game and pushing pause everytime someone says something. So thats why they need the text in there, in case you experience trouble hearing the voices.

yeah

I keep hoping some of these talented people would become available for some of my projects (wink) but to think of it they will probably all be like totally burnt out on modding.. This project has been in progress since I joined what over 2 years ago (meaning HLP).. I'm sure it will rock as many of the same people were in BAB5 project (ie Icefire). No doubt they will all have a great relief when the final zip file is set for DL...

But the Behind Enemy Lines Campaign sounded cool to me. i was hoping that they would finsh it oh well guess not. I think there was a Campaign being made were you could fight on the Shivans side. i think it was could Hidden Terrer the sites down so i guess they never got around to makeing it.

Yay...good to hear that you're making progress, we'll wait patiently.
You know, since the first time I got here, I declared BWO to be "my personal" FS3. ...uhm sorry, I mean the game that shall not be nameth.

Wow, never thought I'd see the day when BWO was almost finished! </sarcasm>

Hope you guys don't pull a Valve on us, BWO is the campaign I've been waiting for. On the other hand, don't rush; we've waited years, we can wait through tweaking time.

Word just in:
Blackwater Operations has been hacked by the United States Department of Homeland Security due to rumors of our including a character of arabic descent as well as a homosexual pilot.

We are also currently in discussion with Rumsfeld over the fact that "Blackwater" is not a code word for a suicide bomber operation. As it is, the Canadian government has not yet responded to IceFire's claim that the campaign is not under US legal jurisdiction due to the majority of the intellectual property being written by a Canadian citizen.

...

Just kidding

Hmmm, if it's released this year, I'll be there congratulating you guys (providing that the full thing plays as well the demo did). Until then I won't be brown-nosing anyone

Well i thot it was 40 well thats got to be hard work making the missions then haveing to check to see if they work then figer out why they dont wont work right. then have to do it with 60 missions that would drive me crazy. but of course im shrue theres more then one person making missions but still. no wonder its taking so long. now if it was just the mission and not the dialog im shure yall would of been down a long time again. anyways i have to say. good work and keep it up.

no would should conplain at all about how long its taking. how ever complains should do 60 mission with dialog and see how long it would take them.

When playing through the campaign, you'll currently play about 30 missions. Keep in mind that there are two sides, as well as other loop missions.

Nope, Hidden Terror is alive and kicking. They've got new hosting over at Sectorgame and have released a trailer for us all to watch.

There, doesn't that make you feel all warm and cosy inside?

Posted by dredhawk on 02-27-2004 11:12 PM:

Yes it dose that Campaign sound intresting i dont now how there going to get it to work. i tried to do an mission where i play on the shivans side but never got it to work right. I guess with the Sorce code released they can do it now.

I count 44 missions in total. Doesn't include a couple of Red-Alert style jumps.

They should be relatively bug free. I think a few weeks before we feel that its done we'll grab a couple of people from the forums (secret like and whatnot - the GTVI specialize in abductions ) and have a quick run through test.

Well, if you weren't redflagged before, you are now. Posts like that send up all sorts of warnings over at the NSA. They're coming for Ace and all the BWO staff now.

*bounce bounce* It's almost done! Good to see that at least one of the big projects is still progressing. And it's on schedule! You guys probably will release it around your targeted date of "sometime between next week and the apocalypse."
