It would probably be that people that were here the longest would get a special rank, or people with insanely high amounts of posts.

It would be more of a thing based on what you have done for the board or if you are a figure that should be named somehow. I don't think special ranks should be given to people with high numbers of posts because then they could just spam a lot.

Right. I'm considering making the ranks very close together - one thing that got on my nerves at the VBB is the fact that people spammed infinite amounts just about how many posts they got.

Word to the wise - If I see any threads started for the sole purpose of announcing your number of posts, its gone. So don't do it please.
