I think so... why?

P.S.

Looks nice

Too bad I have a problem with sounds. When I start a mission, I always have some kind of sound playing constantly in a loop and there's no way to stop it. The sound isn't always the same, but it's always there.

Is this a known problem?

excellent job Bob. But why do you not put the newest version of FRED2 pen in with it?

AA has a habit of putting lines in the menu and ,essages during the game, turn it off and see if the lines disappear.
Nial beams are already activated in tbp_open by default.

Idea, player-controlled turrets. There should be a tag added to turrets that can make them player-controlled (if the player is in that ship) and a key binding (left shift for example) to fire them.

No in any big mission, although I took note that the ship you fixed up for me had no engine subsystem/ on the model? lol, but even after I pout it in and made up a mission it just flys every wich way lol.

On a side note can you pause and take screenshots in TBP Open, and are the reail phisics working yet?

Win XP

Try changing how much Ram your video card is using to. Mine gives me this message if I set to more that 71 megs.

Edit: While im thinking about it:

Bob: is there a way to easily change the mass of a ship. Becasue after I installed open, the Olympus acts like a leaf. Whenever it gets hit by anything, even my fighters guns, it just goes in the opposite direction at about 150mps.

So were do I have to put all the files into?
I just know that the tbl files have to be in the Tables Folder.

Posted by Mr. Fury on 05-28-2003 05:06 PM:

Extract the files to your FS2 root folder. (I know, you said not to say this...)
Why bother with folders if Bobboau will not?

And remember to use new exe, not FS2 shortcuts.

I get the following (hopefilly well translated) error message:

The file D3D8.DDL is linked with the missing export-DDRAW.DDL:UnlockCB.

The Original text:
Die Datei D3D8.DDL ist verknüpft mit der fehlenden Export-DDRAW.DDL:UnlockCB.
Maybe someone can provide a better translation.

My question is, has this to do with the game, DirectX or the Gafic Card?

I allready installed the latest driver for my GC and reinstalled DirectX (from 9.0 back to 8.1a).

That error doesn't occur when I play FS2 or TBP 2.0, only with TBP_open.

I have a Duron 700 MHZ, 384 MB-RAM, a GeForce 4 TI-4200 with 64 MB RAM, Win ME and the german version of FS2.

BTW if someone is confused about the "(I know, you said not to say this...)" that Mr. Fury wrote (with isn't in my post), I changed it because what (or how) I wrote was a little unpolite in my eyes.

There are few strange things going on;

1) When you fire Nial-beams against some ships, the beams disappear "behind" the model. This happens totally random. Nothing biggie, annoying mostly.

2) Again Nial-beams; When shooting the Olympus with these babies, the object bounces rapidly in the opposite direction (If you fire on the aft, it rushes forward etc.)

These are quite small problems (unless you're an HC Olympus-fan , but I thought there's no harm in mentioning...

Despite the small bugs, nice job everyone. Keep up the good work.

Not sure about the second error with teh Olympus...but the first error is a general FS2 problem and not specific to TBP. This has been noticed appearing on all FS2 ships. Its a bug.
