- glow value on textures? I think he just used one of the image filters that comes with Lightwave

- MAX B5 bridge http://mods.firstones.com/b5cgi/

- The guy spent years on the mesh...and he's still working on the V4, the bridge should be included (literally) with the V3 mesh (it's actually a part of it). Well anyways he's just trying to make the most detailed one out there and he put in a couple of cobra bays to..I think..I'm not sure what else there is.

- btw...a question, what programs are you guys using for TBP?

oh and here's the bridge

it's not awful, but as the guy says "it should not be used for inside out shots" - he really only made it so that there was something to be seen from outside. Doesn't look that bad though.

I'll download the file and have a looksie, but I still think everyone will prefer the menu screen. I could take this and use it as a basis to build a proper CG set.. but then it'd probly be a whole load of wasted effort.. or at effort that would be better spent elsewhere.

As far as programs are concerned, we use Truespace, PCS, and Photoshop/PSP. I also use Max, then convert the model into Truespace format, but then I'm strange.

Meh...I'd prefer having a Reaperman render over anything else anyways.

yup im lurking around here, my spies keep me upto date on whats going on, i help with renders when i can

for the record theres a sharlin, a narn cruiser and a tanker hidden away there..and CNV 301 Dreadnaught from I-war if ya can find it

the glowy/dreamy effect was made in 2 parts, firstly using the wavefilter image plug-in with Lightwave

secondly playing with the gausian blur and screen setting in PS, i was going for a dreamy kinda memory feel, since B5's been off the air for a while i was feeling somewhat sentimental, oh and thats Z'ha'dum not epsilon 3

I've used it but I haven't been able to get anything close to a glowy effect until after I put it through PS.

Oh..something's bugging me about the pic though, everything looks good ....though Z'ha'dum......is that a shadow of B5/Narn ship or the texture of the planet... (that really dark spot near the middle)?

Heh, just nocticed it when I was seaching for the CNV.
